Across his sonic adventures, his work in advertising has earned every major international commercial award, including a Cannes Gold Lion for music and a Golden Clio.

Beyond his work in commercials, Jakob is also highly regarded in longer formats, having composed for the Netflix documentary Big Mäck: Gangster und Gold, the worldwide film festival success Hard Way, and the award-winning series Hindafing. Jakob is known as a cross-genre composer, creating everything from cinematic scores to tight pop tracks, fueled by analog synths, electronic beats, and his backround in classical music. He works out of his studio in Munich, surrounded by a Steinway, too many analog synths, and his dog and his cat.
